Actress Reemma, who recently tied the knot with her long-time beau Shiv Karan Singh, has signed her first film post marriage.
She will now be seen in the remake of Sattam Oru Iruttarai, which is being directed by debutante Sneha. The film already has Vikram Prabhu, Karthika and Piaa Bajpai in the cast.
Confirming the news, Reemma says, “I loved the script of the film, and I will be playing a cop in it. It’s pivotal to the script, and I’m excited about facing the camera again in Kollywood. We will most probably start rolling with it from next month.”
Meanwhile, Reemma, who was last seen in a special song in Rajapattai, is excited that one of her Bollywood films, Gangs of Wasseypur, will be premiering at the Cannes this year.
“It’s a hard-hitting film about gangsters, and I’m really glad it’s premiering at such a prestigious film festival,” she says, “Direct Anurag Kashyap is planning to release the film in two parts.”
