Arya has denied reports that he was having an affair with Nayanthara. In an interview to a Tamil magazine recently the actor has stated that he had no relationship with the actress and it was a close friendship that he maintained with her.
There were reports in the media that Nayanthara was getting closer to Arya and both are likely to start an intimate relationship. These reports occupied the media after Nayanthara was given a special treatment at the house warming ceremony that Arya had conducted in Chennai recently.
In the interview, when quizzed, why she was given a special treatment, Arya replied, “More than 20 members from film industry attended the function and Nayantara was also there. But Nayanthara's presence there was only flashed in the media reports. But, we both took it lightly as we always maintained a good friendship.”
Arya and Nayanthara have worked together in 'Boss Engira Baskaran' and their friendship started that time. Nayanthara was having a love relationship with Prabhu Deva then.
