Naga Chaitanya, who is currently doing Autonagar Surya under Deva Katta’s direction, has finalized his next film. It is a remake of Tamil hit Vettai. Naga Chaitanya will be essaying the role that Arya did in the original.
Sunil is roped in to play the role of Madhavan in the Telugu version. Kishore (Dolly) of Konchem Ishtam Konchem Kashtam fame will direct this film. Bellamkonda Suresh is producing it. Earlier it was planned to dub Vettain in Telugu as Bhale Tammudu.
Bellamkonda Suresh made the remake possible by bringing in Chaitanya and Sunil together. Vettai was an out and out commercial film in which Madhavan played the role of a timid cop and Arya did the role of a hot blooded youth.
