In a recent interview, the director spoke about Ajith's character and the movie in detail. "A lot of things are being said about Arrambam and most of the things are strange even to us," begins Vishnuvardhan.
"There is a true event in the movie. But it is just a part and not the entire story. If you want me to say which incident, I would ask you to wait and watch the movie. However, all I can say is that it is a well known incident and everyone knows about it." About Ajith, the director says, "I wanted to introduce Ajith's salt and pepper look. But, Venkat Prabhu overtook.
But, I wanted Ajith to maintain the same look for this film and he agreed readily. No actor in India would agree to act with gray hair. That's where Ajith stands tall." About the character Ajith plays, the director reveals, "Ajith has two faces in the film. One definitely is a gray side.
But, I cannot reveal if he plays the villain or not." Vishnu promises that the action drama would have a lot of interesting twists and turns. He also credits his editor, Sreekar Prasad for the film's racy run. Meanwhile, Arrambam will release on the 31st of October.
Starring Ajith, Arya, Nayanthara, Taapsee, Atul Kulkarni, Mahesh Manjrekar, Suman Ranganathan, Rana Daggubatti and Kishore, the film has Yuvans music and Om Prakash's cinematography. Sri Sathya Sai Movies has produced the mega budget extravaganza.
