It is now official that Ajith will be doing a project with director Gautham Menon next after his Veeram with Siruthai Siva. This mega-budget film will be produced by Sri Sathya Sai films, who have also produced Vishnuvardhan's Arrambam. Southern filmmaker Gautham Vasudev Menon, who recently had to shelve Tamil thriller "Dhruva Natchathiram" with Suriya Sivakumar, has signed a mega budget yet-untitled project in the same language with Ajith Kumar.
While there buzz regarding Ajith's next flick after Veeram, it has now been confirmed that Ajith would be joining hands with acclaimed director Gautham Menon for a mass stylish entertainer under Sri Satya movies banner. Confirming the association, the producers issued a press statement that film will kick start in 2014.
"Ajith has signed Gautham's film, which is a high-budget project. The film will be produced by Sri Satya Sai Movies and will go on floors from Feb 2014. Other details about the cast and crew are yet to be finalised," said a statement from the production house. The statement further said that Ajith Kumar will sport an unseen look in the movie that will have all of us in awe and as the Director Gautham Menon quotes this "will be a mass stylish entertainment fest".
Gautham had recently started shooting for "Dhruva Natchathiram", but it had to be called off following some differences with Suriya. The director would be a happy man working with Ajith, after losing out on a film with Vijay earlier and then Suriya recently. With Arrambam's release around the corner and the long awaited association of director Gautham Vasuvev Menon and Thala Ajith happening, it certainly is a celebration time for the fans of the actor and the director.
