It is known that Vijay Sethupathi and Gayathrie Shankar have once again teamed up to play the lead roles in the upcoming Tamil film Mellisai after their successful combo in Rummy.
Ram's former assistant Ranjith Jeyakodi will wield the megaphone for Mellisai, which showcases Vijay Sethupathi as an aspiring musician who composes an independent audio album in the movie, while his female interest played by Gayathrie Shankar is doing the role as a music teacher.
Vijay Sethupathi had reportedly underwent special piano coaching to fit his role in the film and Gayathrie has formally taken special violin training.
Mellisai is expected to be a musical suspense thriller. Sam CS is composing music for Vijay Sethupathi's Mellisai, cinematography is by Dinesh krishnan and Editing is by Bavan among the crew.
